Medianet Ltd was formed in February of 1999 to carry on the business of Publishers' Representative and Publishers of Caribbean based journals, books and Internet Websites.
Medianet acquired the annual publication - The Caribbean's TOP 100 Companies and published Volume 8 Issue 2000 - 2001 in November of 2000.

In January of 2001 Medianet Ltd entered into a joint venture agreement with CAIC - The Caribbean Association of Industry and Commerce to publish the Association's Quarterly - The CAIC TIMES, jointly with a quarterly financial review of the financial stock and securities markets in the Caribbean. The new publication is called Caribbean INVESTOR and the CAIC TIMES. It is published quarterly. A fifth issue rating the financial performance of Caribbean Regional Corporations and in the previous year will also be published.

This website http://www.thecaribbeaninvestor.com is a companion digital publication. Its objective is to report and analyse immediate financial and company news to the region thus providing regional investors with the up to date news insight and analysis they need to manage their portfolios.

The owners see both publications as performing a pivotal role in educating the wider Caribbean public in the operations of regional securities trading and in encouraging wider participation in the use of corporate investments in the securities markets for the creation of personal and national wealth.
